Path Towards Precision Medicine (PPM)

The objective of the 6th cycle of PPM is to support research that aims to guide healthcare decisions based on the genomic and other omics data towards more effective prevention, diagnosis and/or treatment. This cycle will continue to support genomic research in Qatar, particularly projects utilizing the specimens and data collected and generated by QBB, QGP and other local stakeholders, and enable innovative projects for translating basic research into clinical implementation. The current 6th cycle focuses on projects that are expected to have direct clinical impact on precision medicine implementation. It also addresses community engagement and the required policies of such implementation. The call aims to reach a wider clinical research community and attract more competitive proposals, with potential impact and tangible outcome within clinical settings.
