Held in Doha, the 4th Economic Forum highlighted the Gulf’s rising prominence. Powered by Bloomberg, the forum highlighted how key states are using their wealth to enhance global stature, diversify economies, and gain international prominence. In alignment with the Third Qatar National Development Strategy (NDS3), this year's focus was to address national challenges through innovative solutions, reflecting the strategic emphasis on innovation as a vital component of Qatar’s development efforts.
On the third day of the event, the QRDI Council hosted an exclusive "Innovation Day“, a dynamic event that brought together stakeholders to discuss key topics and new ideas related to innovation, in addition to an exclusive roundtable discussion hosting several international ambassadors and MOFA Qatar representatives, led by HE Director of Policy and Planning Department of the MoFA Qatar, Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater, to explore global collaboration opportunities in the fields of innovation and scientific research.
On the sidelines of the forum, QRDI Council has signed 5 MoUs with local and international partners, including Media City Qatar, German Mittelstand GCC Office, US Qatar Business Council, Jusour, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, aiming to create more opportunities for innovation and innovators in Qatar.
